Settings

Where organization, project and account settings live, and the project settings you change through the API.

Lander keeps settings close to the thing they affect. This page is a map of where each one lives, plus the account preferences and the API only project settings that are not covered elsewhere.

The Settings menu

Select the gear at the bottom of the navigation rail to open Settings:

ItemWhat it coversWho can use it
API keysPublishable and secret keys for the current project and modeOwners, admins, developers
TeamMembers, roles and invitations for the organizationEveryone can view, owners and admins manage
WebhooksEndpoints and deliveries for the current project and modeOwners, admins, developers
BillingPlan and usage for the organizationEveryone can view, owners manage

App and domain configuration lives under Build in the navigation instead:

ItemWhat it covers
DebuggerCheck a link end to end
PlatformsiOS, Android and web fallback settings, which drive the .well-known files
DomainsThe hosted domain and your custom domains
SDKInstall and initialize snippets for your Flutter app

Projects and organizations

The tile at the top of the navigation rail is the workspace switcher. It shows:

  • Your project's link domain at the top. Select it to copy it.
  • Projects in your organization. Select one to switch.
  • New project, for owners and admins.
  • Organizations you belong to, each with your role there. Select one to switch.
  • New organization, for anyone.

You can also switch projects from the command palette (⌘ K, then Switch project). The dashboard remembers the last project you opened and whether you were in test or live mode.

Account preferences

Select your initials in the top right corner to open the account menu. It shows your name and email and has:

  • Theme: Light, Dark or System. You can also flip it with Toggle theme in the command palette.
  • Sign out.

Deferred deep linking settings

A few project settings for deferred deep linking are not in the dashboard yet. You change them through the API with a secret key (sk_test_... or sk_live_...). They apply to the whole project, in both test and live mode.

SettingDefaultWhat it does
iosLandingPagefalseiOS clicks get a "Continue in app" page instead of going straight to the App Store.
webFallbackTokensfalseRedirects to a web fallback URL carry a lander_token, for handing the user over from web to app.
probabilisticMatchingfalseTurns on iOS probabilistic matching (opt in).
probabilisticIpMatchingfalseWith probabilisticMatching on, also match by network (a keyed hash of the IP address).
probabilisticWindowMinutes120How far back probabilistic matching looks, from 15 to 360 minutes.

Read the current values:

curl https://api.golander.link/v1/deferred/settings \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LANDER_SECRET_KEY"

Change any subset of them. The response has the full settings:

curl -X PATCH https://api.golander.link/v1/deferred/settings \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LANDER_SECRET_KEY" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"iosLandingPage": true}'

Changes apply to the next click. Unknown fields are rejected with a 400.

Secret keys belong on your server or in your terminal. Never put one in your Flutter app.

See Deferred deep linking and Attribution for what these settings change.
